Dear Fellow Americans! Thanks for all your speedy replies! I have received a goodly amount of information already from the two books I bought on WLS last November. I will post the titles at a later time. Now, to tell my siblings (3 brothers, 2 sisters) the good news!!! Is it a coincidence that my scheduled surgery immediately follows my a) wedding anniversary, b) birthday, c) surgery date? I think not -- just like a birthday, it will be a new beginning, a "rebirth" if you will, and another day to celebrate in the years to come. My husband is still a little worried, but I am not in the least. I feel my surgeon is one of the best out there and am confident that all will go well. Still, saying a few extra prayers won't hurt . . . Rita
