Honey, I'm home!!!

Well Good Morning EVERYONE! TGIF!!!!! Just thought I'd stop in and say hello! What are your plans for the day? Its snowing hard here, so I'll be staying in my jammies all day and loving it. I just cleaned the WHOLE house, WOOHOO! So glad its done! Now I just gotta start the laundry. I put the basket in front of the door just haven't felt like going to the basement yet... My tummy is rumbling cause it wants to eat very badly, so I'm gonna go get me some cereal and come back and just sit and read the boards...Laters... Oh, and I need to make some TEA! Good Morning, Rosebud! Kelley, step AWAY from the tea...don't want you to do the up/down thing again...have some hot chocolate or CIB instead...step AWAY from the tea... I'm playing hookie from work. Boss Lady REALLY pi$$ed me off yesterday, I have this raging head cold (and it's dropping into my chest...sounded like a duck again this morning, honking out words when I called in...not good), the roads were like ice rinks with freezing rain this morning, and it took all of about a nanosecond to decide to call in my "I ain't'a' comin' in today...deal with it..." at 3:12 this morning (I'd actually intended to go in, thus woke up at 3:12 instead of 4 to allow for an extra long drive in to work...blew THOSE good intentions all to Siberia real quick...). Decided to suck down TheraFlu, snort Flonase, stay in my 'jamins, and hang out on the couch all weekend instead: gotta get rid of this frickin' cold FOR GOOD before surgery, and it's the second one I've had this winter. I'm pushing the limits at work these days - this winter weather has really messed with my attendance. Problem is, I just REALLY don't care. Two years ago I totalled my Camaro when I hit a patch of blac****: I hit the wall on I-475 THREE times (backward, at that...did 'donuts' before I finally hit the wall, and I was only going 50 mph...), and walked out of that car (or what was left of it) with only a broken fingernail. So now when there's ice, I drive with white knuckles, or else I just don't drive. We've had several days of freezing rain this winter, thus my 'bad attendance'. Yes, I admit, I have ice issues now. Besides that, I'm on ultimate burn-out. I even bid on a different job for when I return from surgery. Boss Lady doesn't know, and is gonna flip when she finds out. I can hardly wait to see my behavior the week before surgery. Scary. So how'd chat go last nite? Did you guys figure out a good pudding recipe for me? Kimmer Princess of Puffs Plus

Guess what...? I didn't make the tea and I didn't have any cereal...I waited until now to eat. I just had one of those Marie Callander(sp*) TV dinner things...MMM, I had the pasta medly, It was AWESOME! Ugh, a few weeks ago I was so sick. I ended up with bronchitis, the flu and a sinus infection all at the same time...I thought I was going to die. I was so scared it wasn't going to go away. The bronchitis just FINALLY cleared up a few days ago. I sounded like a duck for weeks! I Hate being sick! I hope you feel better soon. As my mom would say "double up on the garlic". I'm just like you when it comes to the snow and Ice. I hate driving in it. Knock on wood (knocking) I've never had an accident, But did come really close a few times and it was always in bad weather. I also HATE to drive in the rain! It scares me. Well, then again, EVERYTHING scares me. I'm the type that checks every closet and under every bed before I go to sleep. I also double check each lock to make sure its locked. I make sure theres a nite light on in EVERY room too... A few years ago when my husband was working the night shift, I heard something that I thought was trying to break in...I called 911, had about 10 cruisers pull up to my house to tell me they thought it was just a squirel. At night, if I hear a noise, I go stiff, I WON'T move. I wake hubby up if I need to go to the bathroom...YEP, just more of my "issues"... I've had a lot of bad things happen to me as a kid and I know thats the reason why I'm so scared of EVERYTHING! So anyway, Enjoy your day off and long weekend! Hope you feel better! Kelley
