Excited but extremely nervous!

I have researched alot... and this won't be my 1st time to have a surgery. There is still that *what if* in the back of my head, but at this point I don't really feel freaked out. I guess another thing to consider is the success rate of your surgeon. I have complete faith in mine. I have researched her, her practice, her group, and have spoken personally with 14 patients she's done the surgery on. I know there is always a chance that something will go wrong, but I honestly don't believe that it is any greater risk than getting in my car and driving to work. Hope that helps! Karla in CA

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I just got a date of 3/22/04 and I am so excited I am jumping up and down (in my head.. otherwise I might hurt myself) but the other side of me is so nervous. I think you will find that most all of us have simular feelings. Good luck and God Bless! Donna Childress
