Update on Kymber

I spoke with Kym this morning. She's in a ton of pain and not getting much sleep so she could use all the well wishes, prayers and good vibes you can send her way. She had three hernias repaired and one was pretty major. She also had lots of adhesions removed and then the excess skin. She was not doing too bad until today when she started experiencing extreme pain under one of her ribs. She may have pulled something when she pulled herself up on the trapeze bar. She's not at the point yet where she feels good enough to appreciate her new flat tummy, but hopefully she'll be healing soon and feeling better. Connie

Hang in there Kym! The results will be worth it! Sometimes several days after surgery things get worse before they get better, but they WILL get better. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Joy

Connie - thank you so much for taking the time to check in with Kym and keep us updated. I hope she starts feeling better much soon. She has had a rough road and I think that once the pain has eased she may start to feel like the work she has done and the challenges have been worth it. At least I hope so! Kym, if you get to read this: I hope you feel better soon. You need to feel good enough to dye your hair again soon. I've not seen you in Green yet...or BLONDE, so hop to it!!!! (PS: I just went blonde, so you should too. Just because! As my counselor said when I warned her I was going to change my color: "Oh hair? It's just an accessory!!!") Dina

thanks, sweetie. hahaha....actually blonde is my ultimate goal. i'm going to go back to the bright red as soon as i'm able to mess with it again. but once i'm all done losing, i'm going to go in and have it done a honey blonde color...which is one color that i've never had. i've had red, blue, green, burgundy, fushia, black...but never blonde. i guess i've been saving that for when i'm "thin enough to pull it off". ...and that's exactly how i think of it - just an accessory. *shrug* i can't get over how great you look. *hugs* k
