Praise God--I am ALIVE a year later!!!!!
Hey ya'll,
My anniversary was Saturday the 20th. I met with Dr. Farrell on Monday the 22nd for my year check-up. He was THRILLED 
and so was I!!!!
I have lost 151 lbs. since 3/20/03 and am now down 206 total. I see the plastic surgeon on April 1st. I should be at goal when the skin is removed. I can't believe it--I tried on a wedding dress in Dillard's on Friday. Off the rack--a size 12 was too big at the top (should have been an 8P). Once the skin is off I should be in a 6P-8P. Until that point on Friday, I kept looking at myself and saying "I am still so fat--people who know me say I am tiny because they are comparing me to 364 lbs." When that dress was too big I realized that even if it fit perfectly, size 12 is not fat in anyone's book!! Hallelujah!
Thank all of ya'll for your support and the way you share your stories. No matter how much we have lost or the struggles we encounter, we all know what it's like--and that is a good thing. No one else can begin to understand us, no matter how hard they try.
By the way, if all goes well, I hope to be wearing that 6P dress later this year. (He seems to be getting the idea!) I'll keep you posted.
