Plastic Surgery??

Happy New Year to all.. I was wondering if any of you have been investigating Plastic Surgery? I am!! I've lost 130 lbs. I had my surgery on 3/5/03 which is about 10 months ago. I think if I had some skin removed I'd be at my goal weight. Has anyone had plastic surgery already? Sherry Ravenna, Ohio

Congrats on your weight loss. I went to my surgeon on Weds and he put in for my TT and breast reduction as well as my hernia repair but I have to go to my PCP for the referel my insurance wont accept it from my surgeon GRRR .. Said it cant go from one specialist to another thankfully I already have an appt with my Dr on Thurs morning... I am 148 and only 9 pounds from my personal goal weight .. YEAH!! I have lost 103 from day of surgery and 108 total..

Sherry Happy Happy New Year to you. I had surgery on 03-03-03 I have lost 103 lbs. I have been looking into Plastic Surgery. I am down to 153 I want to get to 140. The surgery I am looking into is breast enlargement (never had any) so I DO NOT need a lift, and also I am looking into having my batwings removed. I have a appointment 01-26-04 and another on 01-29-04. I don't known if I would have a TT it is not bad enough that I need it. I was lucky on that, the top of my legs have a little wrinkle. First off, congrats on the weight loss. I have also lost around 130 lbs and talked to my doctor about "excess skin removal and hernia repair" this past thursday. I am still about 35 lbs from goal, but the skin removal would be between 15 and 20 lbs of that. We are hoping that since it is necessary skin removal instead of a tummy tuck, that the insurance will pay. Keep us informed as to how you are doing with the loss and the insurance approval. jan P -131.5

Hi Sherry, You look great! I'm looking into Plastic surgery too, I have a consultation with a plastic surgeon on Thursday January 15th. I really need to get all this skin removed. It's really bothersome. Let us know how it goes for you. I will update after I get back from the surgeon visit. Marilyn
