Eight months already?

I can hardly believe it has been eight months. Seems like yesterday all of those nervous thoughts about surgery were spinning through my head. My progress has been steady, weighing 236.4 the day of surgery (3/24/03) and now weigh 144 as of this morning. I don't know if I will make the century mark and not sure if appearance and healthwise I need to. My ego might need to be massaged if I don't get there!! I wear a comfortable size 10 pants/skirt and a medium top. Everything has gone so smoothly some might view it as "the easy way out". But we all know that it isn't. I have lost quite a bit of hair but is starting to grow back. I hope everyone is doing well and will enjoy their families and friends on Thanksgiving. Pray for those that are away during this time. Vicky, congrats on the weight loss. Just because you don't get to the century mark is not a reason to fret. If you really don't need to lose 100 lbs you body isn't going to do it. You shouldn't compare youself with with those of us who started out close to 100 lbs more than you. Keep up the good work and have a great holiday. Jan P 3/24/03 326/205/1??

Vicky, keep up the great work! You are doing so awesome, doesn't it feel great to wear smaller clothes? I can't believe that I'm fitting in the size that I am. I'll hold something up saying, this is not going to fit and low and behold it does. I bought my first pair of size 10 Calvin Klein jeans today and it was such a wonderful feeling. 280/153/140 Best Wishes~
