Just past the seventh month anniversary

I am just past my seventh month anniversary and finally under 200 lbs. The first time I have been under 200 lbs in about 27 years!!! It feels great!! Just 3 more lbs and I will hit the century club. Weight loss this past month was the least since I had the surgery on March 28. I lost 6 lbs but lost another 7 inches!!! The inches count just as much as the lbs. I also got my hair highlighted for the first time since the surgery. My hair loss is finally slowing down and my hairdresser said my hair was okay to lighten now so that is what we did!!! I finally feel like me again when I look in the mirror!!! I hated how dark my hair was. Still working out at Curves but probably after the holidays will have to kick my exercise routine up so that I will make my goal of 150 by my anniversary date. People who did not know that I was having the surgery don't recognize me. A few times they thought my husband was out with another woman!!! We laugh about it because he is out with the new me!!! Nancy - it sounds like you are doing just so awesome!! Congrats on being under 200!! I am still hoping for that day...I still have a about 19lbs to go before I get there! Keep up the great work!!

Hoping to dip under 200 maybe this week. I weighed in at 201.5 last Monday. I was down there there about 5 or 6 years ago (right before going back to 290). Congratulations on the loss. I had the same recognition problem with a neighbor I don't see very often. I knocked on her door and she hesitated to open it since she didn't recognize me. It's wonderful!!! Have a great week.
