I'm no longer a bread eater but sometimes enjoy crackers. Does anyone have any facts on crackers nutrition? or maybe have some other good suggestions. I'm still a slow loser but I'll weigh-in on next Monday for my 7-month check-up. I don't think that I've lost more since last month but I'm still trying. I've increased my protein and is closely watching what I put in my mouth since my stomach seems to be holding more. Thank you all for your suggestions and words of encouragement. I know that I've been depressed lately about only loosing 61lbs but I'm just so thankful that I'm healthy and have not been sick or dump from this surgery. I'm most of all thankful that I'm alive and made a safe journey to the other side. I've heard about two people dying during the last week from this surgery so I've got a whole lot to be thankful to the Lord for. Enough of my babbling - THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!!!

Hey Marilyn, yes you are very blessed. You are doing wonderful and will continue to do wonderful. I don't do bread either but I do like a couple of crackers with peanut butter. What I do is use about 5 oyster (yes the very little crackers) to scoop up 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, or I use a couple of cheese nips cracker to eat the peanut butter. I use this as my 6th small meal (snack) of the day. Crackers are kinda high in carbs but I don't eat any other straight carbs at all. No potatoes, rice, pasta, bread or sugar. This might not be much help to you but it is a suggestion. Keep truckin' along and before you know it you will be where you want to be. Have a great week and make sure to post after your 7 month check up.

Hi Marilyn!! We have been through a lot the past 7 months huh?!! I also do not eat bread but I do have a melba toast from time to time. I try not to include any high carb foods in my meals. Just foods high in Protein. It is getting harder as we get further out but we just have to work at it. You have done great Marilyn, don't be so hard on yourself! We will always be there for each other. Please let us know how your 7 month checkup went. Hugs!!! Marilyn Resto
