Might be Blowing It!

Well, it's just a week and a half past my 6 month anniversary date and believe it or not, I never thought of that before signing on to this web site. I'm glad I did however, because I think I'm at the beginning stages of blowing it big time! I haven't been eating right for a long time... about 2 months now. I sort of eat whatever I want, rather than thinking protein, veggies, fruit. NOT GOOD. I've lost 73 lbs and I feel great, but my goal is 114lbs. so it's way too early to get this relaxed, don't you think?! I've never been to a meeting either! That can't be good. I honestly forget about them! I wake up knowing tonight's the night and by evening I've totally forgotten. I have to fix this and allot of other things. I joined Curves in July, but haven't gone all summer. A new location just opened this week really close to my job so I am definitely getting back into exercising. I've already made the decision to stop junk food. YUP you heard me right, I snack on YUNK food. Little bits, but STILL, that kind of food is poison so WHY am I doing it?! I need to go to a meeting that's for sure. So, that's my update. I'm totally disappointed in myself. Embarrassed to even go to my next check-up which is next week. After reading everyone's 6 month stories I see that 73 pounds is not as much as it should be and I'M THE REASON WHY! Maybe writing this all down will help me get back on track. I could use a good slap across the face to say, WAKE UP! You could blow the best thing you've ever done for yourself. Get back on track NOW! Wish me luck! Thanks for being there!

Don't beat yourself up for this little slip. First of all if you only needed to lose 114 lbs you are doing great at being down 73 in the first 6 months. Most of us who have lost close to 100 or better by now have/had a lot more to lose than you. You will do fine. Just take a step back, look at where you came from and where you want to be. You will get back on track and accomplish your goal. Today is a new day, and you can start anew!!!!

You haven't blown it. You made the first step- realizing you have fallen off track. Good luck and just remember, you have done awesome!!! How else could you have lost this weight this fast??

DENISE...THAT IS RIGHT!! ...DON'T BEAT YOURSELF UP...YOU CAN DO IT!! ...WHEN I HAD OPEN RNY 03/26/03 I NEEDED TO LOSE APPROXIMATELY 300 LBS (YES I SAID THREE HUNDRED POUNDS) & I'M JUST LIKE YOU...I CAN EAT ANYTHING. OF COURSE, I PAY LATER WITH DUMPING BUT WHO CARES I GOT TO PUT IN MY MOUTH WHAT I WANTED (BAD IDEA)... I HAVE LOST 100 LBS BUT I FEAR THAT I WILL NOT MAKE IT & DREAD MY NEXT VISIT TO THE DOC BUT I THINK IF WE KEEP POSTING ON THIS SITE & GIVE EACH OTHER SUPPORT IT REALLY DOES HELP...ALSO GET TO THOSE SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS...GOOD LUCK....445/345/150
