6 month update

I had surgery on 3/10/2003. I was 540 and now I am down to 370. The doctor said I lost the most weight in the office 2 months post op (100 lbs). Energy levels are high and have no post op problems that are worth mentioning. My goal is 260 lbs then I have to worry about plastic surgery.

Way to go Joseph. It's amazing how the more you weight, the faster you lose. You lost in 2 months what it has taken me almost 6 months to lose. My goal is 154 so I have about 68 more to go. Keep up the good work. Jan RNY 3/24/03 317/222/154

GOOD FOR YOU JOSEPH!!!!! WHAT A LOT OF WEIGHT TO LOSE!!!!!..I had my open RNY 03/26/03 & as of 2 weeks ago I am down 80 lbs & my energy level is so very high. I read your profile & it is funny how the people that didn't want you to have the surgery are now getting surgery themselves. Did you know there is only a 1% mortality rate with WLS but there is something like an 85% mortality rate for obesity & its complications? I think you know by now that we all made the right decision to have surgery...GOOD LUCK TO YOU...BONNIE IN ZEPHYRHILLS FL
