Cravings

Hi Everyone. Am I alone with this or not but I've come to the conclusion that I still have cravings. I hear so often that many after this surgery no longer have cravings for foods. This could not be far from the truth for me. I've noticed that most of my cravings come after I've worked out at the gym in the evening. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I seem to have the urge to go to the kitchen after I walk on my treadmill also. I have taken up cross stitch. I immediately sit down in my recliner and start stitching to keep my hands busy so I don't munch. If after 45 minutes to an hour I still have the urge I then eat something small such as watermelon or some beef Jerky. But most times keeping my hands busy takes the urge away. Just a suggestions

Try drinking some water or crystal light or something Marilyn. You may not be "hungry", just needing something in your stomach. So try drinking.....and then like Jan said, if after an hour you are still feeling the cravings eat some protein.
