I am amost 2 years out and still have not met my personal goal. I have lost 112 pounds but have gained 10 pounds in last few months. I am a a giant plateau. I still need to lost about 30-40 pounds to reach my goal. I have went from a size 24 down to a size 14. I feel some of my buddies that have had the surgery is losing more weight than I am. I feel that I won't be able to lose any more weight. I have started going back to gym and walking every day but it does not seem to help so far.

I JUST discovered this message board!! I hope things are going better for you. Since we are almost THREE years out, things have changed quite a bit for us since our *honeymoon* period... It seems that the further out we are, the more foods we can tolerate... I find myself trying things that I KNOW I shouldn't but do. You didn't mention what your daily food choices are... that makes a difference. I have gained a few pounds in the last year and I am now *back to basics*... NO bad carbs!!! NO pasta NO potatoes NO crackers NO bread NO rice you know the routine... Protein, LOTSA water and exercise is the key for loss and maintenance. Let me know how things are going! Hugz n Texas Blessings, Cath
