I had my surgery 3/22/02. I have lost maybe a total of 10lbs in the last 3 months. That has been a struggle for me. It is frustrating because though I have lost 130lbs, I need to lose another 50. I keep telling myself I didn't put on all that weight In a year I can't expect it to fly off that fast either. I neeeeed to get on my treadmill again also. Keep up the good work. Sometimes I think we sit in the present and don't look at what we have already accomplished.
I had my surgery on March 12, 2002. I have lost a total of 134 pounds and would love to lose about 15 more pounds. I am at a plateau. I know that walking and exercise will do the trick. I hardly drink water and I know tha****er will help a lot I am really trying to drink more water. I exercise and walk but not everyday. I intend not to let this weight creep back on me. When I see a weight gain, I will cut back drastically and sometimes I will fast for a few days.

My open RNY was March 5, 2002. I am down 152 pounds. I was stuck at 135 lbs down for 4 months. In the past 6 weeks I have lost 17 lbs. The answer was excercise. Not only did it curb my appetite, but it burns the calories I do intake. 3 to 5 trips to the health club a week usually at lunch time helps. One other benefit is the stress is gone when I get back to the office.
I know that you may not have the flexibility to go at lunch time but whenever you can get exercise it helps. I didn't think I needed it but now am convinced it is part of the total solution.
Good luck and keep working at it.
