Topic: RE: Has anyone else had a revision since 3/01?
Your story is nearly the same as mine. I had my original RNY on 3/30/01. I started at 338 lbs and lost about 130 pounds by 1.5 years. I had my revision on 6/30/03 and I hope to reach my goal of 150 lbs eventually.
Topic: Has anyone else had a revision since 3/01?
Hi Everyone-
I had my surgery on 3.23.01. Started at 353 lbs. Lost 130 lbs by 1.5 yrs. post., then regained 25 lbs. and went for a revision. I'm slowly getting near goal. What a long jouney mine has been!
Also, my Hubby saw my results and decided to have the surgery too on 6.10.02.

Topic: A healthier me
Here I am two years and 3 months post-op and now 3 months post-op from my tummy tuck and life is GREAT. I am HEalthier than I ever thought I could be. I am no longer suffocating in my own body. I ahve lost 142 pounds and I couldn't be happier. I thank God for Carnie Wilson for having been so open about this procedure and it opened my eyes to a new world. I am GRATEFUL for my life.
Topic: TWO YEARS and THREE MONTHS!!!
Hey everyone! Two years has passed since my surgery and I am maintaining a weight of 145-154! I wear a size 8-10 and I feel better than ever! Losing weight has not been the answer to all my problems, but it certainly has opened some new opportunities in my life! I feel physically and emotionally better! I am able to exercise and food has taken on a new meaning for me! I am more confident and I feel great! Sometimes, I look in the mirror and am surprised that I don't see that 262 pound face looking back at me. I have not experienced any complications following surgery, thank God! Good luck to all of you out there! I hope to get some pictures up soon!
