Any Feb 2011 surgerys?

Hey ya'll,
I just got my date yesterday!  It's FEB 28th!  I'm having RNY and I'm really excited that this is finally going to happen! 

I hesitated posting at first because it wasn't confirmed, but I will be having my surgery on February 2! Nervous but excited to get to loserville!!

I see that some of you are doing an Optifast diet.  What is that?  My doc requires a 5 day liquid diet.  Is that the same thing?

Mine is scheduled for 2/24/11. Excited and can hardly wait for the "new beginning." Not scared so much any more, just excited. I think after reading this site for some time now and doing lots of other research, I'm ready!

 This is my 1st time posting.  Still getting used to the site.  I am leaving in 2 hours to go to NYC and my hotel room so I can be on time for my Sleeve surgery tomorrow.  So scared and nervous!  Extremely *****y and hungry since all I've had in 48 hrs is water, gatorade and sugar free ice pops :(    I really hope the hunger pangs go away after surgery.  Im excited to finally be taking control of my life and can't wait to see and feel all the changes that are about to happen!  I will be happy to answer any questions in a few days, for any of you that are scheduled later in  the month.  I wish everyone here lots of luck and courage!

Hello everyone.  My VGS surgery is scheduled on the 24th of February.  Nervous and excited all at the same time!  Good luck to everyone.  Not looking forward to the pre-op diet which starts on the 10th, but definitely looking forward to the results!
