your list looks like my list. The only thing extra that I am packing is a robe to put over your shoulders when you are still in a hospital gown and need to walk. Good Luck!!

Hello,
I am going to Bluepoint surgical group in VA. Dr. Halmi and Dr. Tran are my Dr/surgians. I am required to do a two week optifast diet befor surgery. My surgery date is February 23. On Feb 8 I start the diet. They did not give me a weight loss number just tha I have to loss to decrease the size of my liver prior to surgery. They do have optifast or something like it on line at amazon.com. Well good luck and best wishes with your surgeries.

I am so glad my surgery date is scheduled. I am getting a little nervious, but I know this is the best thing. I have stuggled with weight all my life. Through 20 years of being in the Army and life afterwards. This will be a tool to help me get and maintain a health lifestyle and life.

Hey,
Congrats on your surgery date!!! All surgeons are different but my surgeon keeps you in the hospital for 3 days. The day of surgery you don't even get to drink anything even after they are done. My surgeon thinks that the longer hospital stay is beneficial. I wish you luck in your surgery.
