Topic: Really getting nervous and excited!!!
I am getting so nervous and excited, Feb. 15th seems to be coming so quickly!! Went for my last appt. with surgeon today, was relieved that I only have to start my liquid diet 48 hours before, because I have been dieting for the last 2wks and have lost 14 pounds, so as long as I maintain and remain on the low calorie diet things will be fine. I need to go tomorrow and get my vitamins and calcium, and things that I am taking to the hospital!!! I keep saying to myself is this really happening???? Well good luck all of you Feb. peeps and God bless!!!!

Yes what ever you do follow your doctors orders!!! Everyone is different, I just went today for my last appt. with the surgeon and I was sure I would have to be on the all liquid, but because I had lost 14 pounds on my own I do not have to go on the all liquid until 48 hours before. But again, I say follow your doctors orders!!!! Good luck!

Listen to your doctor!! They know more than your friends. Are your friends the one doing the surgery on you, I think not.

I am on Optifast day # 9...........surgery next Tuesday....I am soooo hungry, but holding up!!! Terrified and excited and definiatly down to the less then one week freak. Best of luck to my fellow sugery buddies!

My surgery is scheduled with Dr. Landers on Monday, February 8. This is a decision that I've been considering for a couple of years, and now the day is near and I'm excited to start my new journey, and cannot wait to be and feel healthier.

HELP!!! So confused, maybe its because im hungry. Feeling a little negative hate my protein shakes, hate my broth.Sorry I just need to vent, so not fare, 1 week pre-op liquid diet only afternoons are hard feeling weak and dizzy.I here a lot of people on pre-op get to eat salad some even chicken.
Here is something last nigth called my doc. office and asked if I can eat salad and she said absolutly not.Friend called today and they told her yes. What is it can I or not.The question of the nigth is what are people out there eating on there pre-op diet?The good thing is that everyday it gets easyer and in 2 days I have lost 3 pounds HORRAY to that.

Hi and Congratulations! We have the same surgery date! I'm excited too. I have my vitamins ordered and my bag to the hospital is partially packed. I have my pre-op appointment next week.
