CONGRATS!! My surgery is the 12th and I have a bag all ready to go. The list you have is good; the doc told me to make sure any slippers I take have non-skid soles. I am also taking a couple of night shirts of my own; doc said it can do wonders for morale. Also, don't forget talcum powder and hair supplies...comb/brush barrettes, etc. I am also taking my own toothbrush. I will keep you in my prayers on Tuesday! See you on the loser's bench!

Yes, everyone's is different, I'm only allowed to eat raw vegetables and my weightloss shakes and water lots and lots of water. I've been on it for the last couple of weeks and have another week and a half left. Drink plenty of water it may help.... Best of luck!

Can I join in? My surgery is on the 17th also in South San Francisco. My doctor has me on a 2 meal protein drink and the third meal is lite. I feel great and so ready to move on with my life. Got my vitamins taken care of I just have to get my hospital stuff ready. I am so nervous and excited all at the same time.

Are you having RNY or lap band? 
Where are you having your sugery done? My pre-op is on the 12th. Did you have to lose a certain amount of weight before surgery? I know this is a lot of questions. I am so excited for you. We need to keep up on each other's journey.

Congrats on the weight loss! I also can't believe that I am almost there myself. Excited and nervous-that's me too. I actually don't want to eat because of the nerves so the pre-op diet is going well.
