I'm doing well.

Just in the last week or so though I've felt really hungry.  My calorie intake has increased from 800/50 to 950/1000 most days. Just wondering how other folk are doing?

I go to the Y 3x's a week for water aerobics.  Have lots more energy.

Had my lap band 2/16/10. I am doing great.....lost 69lbs. feeling fabulous physically.....emotionally I still see myself as a "fat" person. It's funny how hard it is to change how you perceive yourself....I'll see pics of myself and go, "who is that" I go for my 3rd fill today and am loooking forward to that! YEAH ME!

You look great!! Maybe Ill give uploading another try.

So I am doing pretty good hit my 6 months a few days back. I am still just as thankful today as I was when I had just lost 20lbs.

Still learning to use my tools from time to time. I've realized that when I am with people sometimes I just have to  slip away and focus on me and not try to include my coworkers in meal time. If I include people I either eat something I am not suppose  to or eat too much of it.

Hi Everyone!  Do you need to sign up to be a memeber of this message board, or do you just show up?  I am completely new to OH.  I had my surgery on 2/3/10, and I am doing very well.  Down 92 pounds, and I changed my workout, so I think next week the scale will be back to its old nice self again!  I am not worried though, I can feel such a difference I know I am doing things right.  I have my 6 month post op Dr. appt today, and my biggest concern is finding healthy lunch ideas I can have at work instead of those sodium soaked lean cuisines.  I look forward to reading about your journies as well.  It is so nice to find a spot where we all went throug the same thing at the same time!

I had RNY on Feb5th.
I feel I'm a "slow looser" as well, however, I do notice inches changing on those weeks I'm not moving the scales.
I'm meeting with my NUT soon to go over my food logs as we think I'm too short on the cal intake, causing me to "shut down"
My exercise has been limited to walking and some swimming due to my joint issues.

My average protein intake is between 80-115grams a day- however, most of that has been through solid food protein vs. the whey protein powders.  NUT is encouraging me to try to switch it up a bit, get more protein from the whey powders, less reliant on solid food for a few weeks to see if it jump starts me again.

Though slow, I feel great and I'm happy with the progress I've made-- no other time in my life have I lost over 50# in a 6 month period!

Encouraged to see I'm not facing the slow loss alone here.

I have only lost just over 60 pounds and mine was on 2/23/10. It so depends on how much you have to lose. I have gotten discouraged at times too until I see a lot of people hover right over the 200 pound mark at our same time...you are doing great! And I do agree a bit more calories helps. I was at a stall for 2 weeks went on vaca to MT last weekend ate terrible! Really terrible...came home got on the scale and lost 4 pounds since last I weighed(which was on Thursday of last week...so the body knows what we are up too and it's good to trick it!
