Congrads to all the Feb 2010 surgery peeps! We are all starting a new chapter of our lives. Let's show each other some love and encouragement! I am 3 weeks and 2 days out and will admit the first 2 weeks were rough. However, I feel so good this week I am wondering if I really had surgery. It is CRAZY. Hang in there everyone!

I am a little over two weeks out now. I met with surgeon the other day and he said I can eat solid foods, just take it slow to "test the waters". I can only eat a very small amount but I have not had any issues. I guess this shows my "daredevil" side, but I tried salad yesterday and I did great. I wish you luck in that you also have success with solid food.

It is so easy to get sucked into just the negatives when you are venting on these forums. Everyone has done it....mor than once. That is why we are here. I have done my fair share of complaining and *****ing. Congrats on the 20 lbs lost! Are you doing a liquid diet? My surgery is on Friday 2/26/10. Keep in touch.

You are lucky you did not have to do the two week liquid diet...I will have to drink something to clean me out as well tomorrow....I don't know why...there is nothing in there!!! LOL Good luck!

Hi Sue! Yes, the 25th is pretty darn close. Good luck to you. A lot of people ask me if the 2 week liquid diet was as hard as I thought and I always respond with a loud....YES amd it is not over yet!!! LOL I will be glad when my post op life begins. Keep in touch!

I am having it done in Charlotte, NC. I will be checking into the hospital @ 6:30...surgery is at 8:30. Good luck to you! Keep in touch let me know how things go.
