What is everyone eating???
I'm only 3 weeks post-op and am supposed to still be eating pureed foods but I have to admit I've been cheating and am already eating solid foods. I really enjoy omelets made with Egg Beaters or egg whites. They're good either pureed or "regular." I drink bottled water throughout the day and add Special K2O protein mix to it (the strawberry-kiwi flavor is my favorite).
I still enjoy cooking so I bought several cookbooks aimed at bariatric surgery patients. So far, my favorite is "Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery" by Levine and Bontempo-Saray. They claim they designed the recipes to taste good whether pureed or "regular" and, so far, I've found that to be true. I'm making a braised pork tenderloin for supper tonight (and the next several days).

Wow...who is your dr? I only did the "soft diet" 10 days after surgery and for only two weeks. I had my surgery on feb 1st & I am able to eat chicken, tuna, fish, shrimp, crab, (no red meat or pork) all of the liquids from the first week & all of the "soft diet" foods. Plus I can now eat fresh fruit (no grapes) & fresh veggies.
