has been torn up since I got home.  Everytime I think about passing gas I am running to the bathroom.  I am just curious if anyone else has had this problem??

Gas has been a problem for me, but it hasn't been so bad that it has kept me close to the bathroom.  I am sure things will get better!

Do you mean you have the runs or have to pee (there is never tmi on this site ? I have to do neither. I wish I could pass more gas. Good luck with that. Make sure you are not losing too many fluids either way.

It took about a week for the "gas" to pass for the frist time.   Laying on my left side in bed for awhile helps.  finally had a minute long fart.     Rested a bit then felt it coming again not sure why but i moved to the bathroom & was glad I did!!!

Give  it time... this too will pass!

Gas is definitely the worst part of this entire experience!! My doc ok'd the gas-x strips, and they seemed to help a little, but what helped the most was laying in bed and rolling from side to side every few minutes, and if you are sleepy, lay on your back with your knees up in the air...gives a little room for the gas to go away...now I am  3 weeks out and still have that weird gas pain in my upper back from where they pumped my abdomen up with co2...but it isn't as bad as it used to be..every day it gets better and better. Best wishes!!

I had surgery 3 years ago and my husband, Mike had surgery with Dr. Smith last Monday.  I saw you were in Fargo.  He is having a really hard time with head hunger.  Anything you are doing to help this or are you not having that issue?
