surgery date Feb 23, 2010

I am excited, a little scared and ready to work the program. I am going to use this tool to reclaim my healt through exercise, focus and diet. I am so ready.But here is a laugh. My surgery is in Potomac Hospital. You get a single room that family can stay in and wait. The funny part is you get room service and can order anything you want to eat. But wait I cant eat. I wonder with the jello selectin looks like. Anyway Pray for me. If any one lives in Fredericksburg please give me a call after I return home for support. I live alone and mysister can only stay a couple of days. so outside support and friendship will be happily accepted. Thanks to all, peace and blessings to all.

My date is the 23rd also. I know what you mean about being both excited and scared. I've been struggling with my weight for 50 years now and I'm afraid this effort will ultimately fail too. I've always been able to lose weight but unable to keep it off. I'm counting on the band being the tool I need to help me stop sabotaging myself.

I also live alone and will be counting on the support here to help me stay on track. My mantra will be "we can do together what we cannot do alone."  I'll keep you in my prayers.

My surgery date is Feb. 23 also. I was suppose to go in Feb. 2, but  my doctor got sick. I am too excited to be nervous or scared. I haven't been scared at all, I am more scared of what would happen to me if I did not have this surgery. I plan on using this surgery as the tool I need to gain control over my life, not to just eat less, but to be a healthy person for the first time since my early 20's.

I am also having surgery on the 23rd! Lap Band surgery in Alberta, Canada. I look forward to sharing this with all of you.

I had the band put in on 2-23-2010 also and I am returning to work on Monday I hope you all success!
