Stressed my daughter had pink eye...

At least it sure looks like she does and my surgery is 4 days away!!  I cannot get it!  I am just so stressed I am going to get it and the surgery will be postponed and I will have to start all over again.  She is not hurting but it doesn't look good!  Please pray it is not pink eye and at the very least that I will not get it!

Call you PCP ASAP explain and see if they will call in a script for the drops. You need to be on them for 24 hrs. and are no longer contagious.

I agree with Ruxanby.  Call your doc asap and quarantine your little darling .    She'll thank you later.  I had a sick little girl myself last week and was really nervous about getting whatever she had.  I medicated her, supplemented her (and myself) and loved her at arm's length.  She cleared right up and I never caught her cold, thank God.   Good luck. 

I would take her to the doctor to see if it's pink eye, and if it is, get her on meds immediately. My original surgery date was Feb 2, and my daughter got pink eye and strep throat two weeks before. I was worried that I would get it too. I took her to the doctor, got her on antibiotics, and thankfully never got it. My doctor got sick, so my surgery is rescheduled for Feb 23.
