Could use all the help I can get! :) Surgery 2/10/10

My lap band surgery is now only a few days away!  I would love to get any tips or things I should know from all of you that have been through it.  I am starting to get excited about this new phase of my life...but I am sure I will be even more excited when the surgery is over!

Anything I should know in advance??  Please repond and enjoy the Superbowl!!

  I am on the 10th too.    I also am thinking about this new phase of life.  I can't wait to go shopping in my closet and wear all those cute outfits that have been gathering dust.

Went for my pre admission testing today.  My blood pressure if off the wall...hope that won't delay anything since I am already on medicine for that.  Also we expecting another snowstorm....the hospital says it doesn't close...so I guess we are still on for Wed.  I start my liquid diet tomorrow...my doc only requires one day...I wonder why that is since so many others are required to do it for so much longer.  I will be thinking of you L_C on Wednesday...hope we all have successful surgeries!  Remember to Just Breathe!

   Can't believe that we are so close!   It's all clears for me today. Blech!  Speaking of snow, we are actually supposed to get some snow here in Tucson on Wed.  I hope that I will be able to see out a window because I haven't seen snow in a few years.  Forgive me if you are totally sick of snow right now. LOL. 
     I just don't see how I am going to get any sleep tonight.  I have never had surgery before.  At least, my fav show "LOST" is on tonight so I will have a little distraction.

I am so with you on the Lost thing! I am also spending the day doing major cleaning on my house...I am going to banish myself to my guest room since I have an easier bed to get out of in there.  I love my Temperpedic but I don't think I will be able to haul myself out without busting a stitch!  lol  I have to get rid of all the dust around here....I am already fearful of the sneezing!  Have a great surgery tomorrow!!
