New here and surgery is 2-9-10

HI all!
I have been hearing about this site in my nutrition classes.  I have been working toward WLS for 19 months now and Tuesday is THE day.  I can't believe its finally here.  I am excited, scared, and nervous all at once.  I am just ready to be done with the preparing and do this and move toward a healthier me.  Its been a long road let's just do this already!

I have so many things going thru my mind at this point.  So much info..afraid I have forgotten something very important.ha  Don't dream of anything but hospitals and surgeries..latest nightmare is I will be the only person who has this and does not loose weight.

I look forward to meeting others like me and sharing as well.  I am very glad to have found this site and I hope I can give as much as I get.

Good luck and you will be fine. Think positive!  I too an scared, nervous and excited all at the same time.  It is natural.  Can not wait to hear how you made out.  And Welcome to the board.

Hi! Today's my big day too! I'm a little nervous but my Hubby just had this done 2 1/2 wks ago so I kind of know what to expect. I worry about not losing weight either it's just something you can't help but think of when you've tried unsuccessfully for so long. We will both do great and look back at this a year from now and say wow that went fast! Good luck!
