So how have you prepared for your surgery?

Yep, I picked up some GasX  and pureed prunes (baby food) just in case

I had a mani/pedi 2 days ago, and it is definately a treat you should have before your surgery.  It's so relaxing and a nice distraction.  I plan on making a pedicure a monthly thing from this point on.

My shopping is almost done, I've got the sippy cup and the plates, ustensiles, proteins and vitamins,etc...  I am looking for popsicle molds, as my nut said to make them with jello or shakes, to change from purees and liquids. But in Canada, at this time of year, the popsicle are really rare!!!  I will go today toget some creamy soups. I read that we should bring chapstick to the hospital because it's so dry. I will also bring some purel.

Today, I got a new haircut and coloring, a little pampering to look a little bit better at the hospital!!
Have a nice day! ( me and my new haircut !!)

Hi

A few months ago I went around to the 2nd hand shops and bought myself 12 beautiful little glass plates 6 with painted flowers and 6 in the shape of leaves. ( I wanted to see something nice on my plates since there wouldn't be much food LOL). I got little drinking glasses and bowls that hold about 120mls/ 4oz , baby spoons and forks. I have also a few shot glasses to start drinking my water with as they will help me keep my sips small and a timer so even if I'm not thirsty I will know to drink. Little baby containers that hold 4oz so I can take soups/mushies to the shops if I'm out and can go in the microwave. Kitchen scales to weigh everything. Unflavoured protein powder and a surplus of Opitfast shakes. I have also started making meals and freezing them for my family for my stay in hospital and afterwards.  Making soups for myself in 2oz portions and putting them in snaplock bags and freezing them. I know that I don't want to be making them afterwards for a little while atleast. I have dissolvable Panadol, Berocca, De-Gas and Floradix Floravital.

I'm sure that I will forget something or have over thought everything and have to much.

Best wishes to all
