February's coming... 2nd thoughts ???

HI february fellows.... 9 days from my surgery... Today I read too much posts about possible complications, and I am having 2 nd thoughts.... It is normal they say.  How do you feel??

My surgery date isn't until the 16th and so far no second thoughts. I am aware of the complications but I am confident I'm making the right decision for me.  As the date moves closer I may become more anxious but I really hope not.

Hey :)  My surgery is on Ground Hog Day too!  Didn't realize that until my friend pointed it out to me last night.  When I first scheduled my date, I was pretty scared and anxious, and wondering if I was going to go through with it.  As the date  approaches, I am excited and anxious to get started with my new way of life.  I'm eating out a lot, and also preparing my kitchen for the things I'll need (Magic Bullet, tryng different shakes, getting childsized utensils and plates, etc).

Ground Hog Day! I didn't think about it.... Hope it won't be like that Bill Murray's movie, when he has to relive the same day everyday!

Actually, I am pretty amused that it's GH Day...for me, it's a good omen and a good fit for my life.

I am scheduled for the 16th Diane and I fell like you.  Anxious.  I too am reading too much but I also believe we have to go into this with full knowledge.  I am not sure if I can do this yet.  I guess we'll see on the 16th.

May we all make the right decisions that our best for us.

I'm scheduled for the 9th.  I have no second thoughts at all.  The incidence of complications is so low that I'm not going to worry about it.  I read these forums all the time.  I feel bad for the people that do have complications, but I do not believe that I will be one of them.  I have selected an excellent surgeon that I am putting my trust in.

Just stay calm and stay on program and everything will be fine.

My surgery is Feb. 15th, I have no second thoughts as far as the surgery is concerned, I feel that everything is done for a reason, I have faith that the good Lord will see me through this, I only worry about after the surgery with the extra skin and if I am strong enough to maintain my new eating habits.

Hi! Diane, I hope you are feeling better about your up coming surgery. Are you prepared ? I am having mine on Feb 1st, I was at the Dr's yesterdays and they could tell that I was nervous. I bought a lot of my stuff on the way home as tomorrow I start my liquid diet. I have my Magic Bullet, tryng different shakes,also bought child sized utensils and plates, etc.I bought stuff for t least 2 weeks and that way I would not need to go to the store Its 25 miles. I am trying to fight off a sinus infection or cold. I have been real careful not to get sick. That is what I worry about the most. Good luck on your surgery it will be over before you know it.

Hi, nope, no more second thoughts, I am sooooo ready, I cannot wait. I've been on a shake diet for two weeks, lost 10 pounds ( 17 since Christmas) so I feel great and ready to lose more!!!
I also bought what I will need for the firsts weeks, my suitcase is not completed but almost.  

Hope your sinus infection will get better before surgery, I have that often and I am keeping fingers crossed to not get it before surgery.

Only 4 days remaining... It goes soo fast.
