Hey, dont give up. Since my doctor told me that on Nov 15. I have lost 50 lbs (as of this morn). This is the first time in my life I have stuck to a diet like this. Join a club, visit with a nutritionist, make a diet you can live with and get it done. its hard, by far the hardest thing I have ever done, but i am living proof it can be achieved.

Wow he could of given you fair warning of what he wanted. I would of given him a few choice words. I must admit I did giggle at " IF I could lose 60lbs, I wouldn't need your dang surgery". I think some Dr's don't think what is coming out of their mouths.
I see my DR in the Liver clinic in 7 days and hopefully he will give me the OK and then in 2 weeks I see Dr Mosse and pray he says he will do it even with my shotty liver.
How is everyone going with the nerves? Well it's now less than 12 weeks for all of us, counting from me being last one of us so far. Time is going by really fast.
Best wishes to all

I am so excited! My surgery is scheduled! FEB 10th!!!
I can't wait! I opted out to have the sleeve but I am not 100% positive about it. I am still wondering back and forth should I go for RNY? I am currently 264 would love to lose 100 lbs or more! My target weight is 150. I am excited and anxious! My hospital is Kaiser West LA. Any of you out there who had RNY or Sleeve feel like sharing the reasons why you opted to have the procedure you have? That would definately help a lot of us who are still confused about what to choose. Thank you guys!!!
