Just checking in...

I have been a weight lifter for over 20 years and I'm now taking in 200+ grams of protein per day. I'm lifting my ass off 4 days a week. Riding a bike & walking.

3 protein drinks a day + protein rich meals is working wonders.

I hate my before pics & I might not ever post them but I have to put a recent pic on here soon. I am looking great...!!!

Sounds like a normal fluctuation to me.

At about six weeks out I gained 5 lbs in six days.  Then a month later gained and lost the same 14 lbs just up and down over 58 days. I did not think that was even possible right after an rny.  All this while sticking to my plan.

You are over reacting.  You'll loose the 2 lbs  and keep loosing till goal.

Dont sweat it. I fluctuate between a pound or to. A couple of weeks ago I was at 306, and the next day i jumped to 310, how in the world that happened I have no idea. But obviously it didnt stick around! Catch it and fix it, sometimes its jus****er retention, if you knwo you havent stepped of the proper track, I am sure it will vanish before you know it

Don't stress it is only 2 lbs. I know your feeling a bit overwhelmed but be thankful it's only two and not ten. Many people have fluctuated lately if you have read the post,I have as well. Just stay focused do what needs to be done and you will be ok. Don't allow this to be on your mind. When you go away you need to remember the foods you eat are cooked differently than the way we cook our foods. So a lot of saturated fats are used when they are cooking. So consider it to be small and not a large factor. Keep smiling keep focused and seriously it's ok.You also need to remember how far you have come and think positive.

I was on vacation for the past week and I got home and weighed myself to see that I gained 1 1/2lbs! I was so upset. I waited a couple days and weighed in again to see that I have gained another half pound! I am so depressed and I am worried about this. I am planning on starting my 5 day pouch test tomorrow, but I am just trying to figure out where I went wrong! i stuck to eating right, and actually started taking in more fiber (which was necessary! I just think I am to soon out for this to happen, I have had stalls, but I have not had a weight gain like this sense I had my RNY.

Please tell me this is normal, and I am over reacting! I need hope.

Hey you are forty pounds ahead of me, congratulations.  I don't know what MILF stands for but I know it must be good.  You'll have a great Christmas photo for sure, all smiling and skinny.

That size 6 Levi's freaked me out when my 8's got loose.  I know they are vanity sized but the single digits still feel good.  I went to Ralph Lauren yesterday and tried on clothes since they are closer to the old US standard size charts.  I'm a 6/8/10 most places but a 10/12 at the high end shops.  Last year they had nothing at all to fit me.

I can't believe the results. At 8 months out I am 121 pounds lighter. My head is having a hard time catching up to my body. 8 months ago I was a tight 22 and as of today I bought a pair of size 6 Levi's! I am still overweight according to "The Charts". I need to lose another 10 pounds to  be in the normal BMI range. Shopping is the hardest. I feel like everyone is watching me in stores and at any moment I will be kicked out or told ""their clothes" aren't for me. I have 2 pairs of pants that fit and a few tops. I need to buy new bras but don't even know where to begin. I was so use to buying everything I needed at 1 store, Lane Bryant, Now I have all these options...it's overwhelming.

Everything is great though. I'm back in school for nursing. I was called a MILF the other day....NICE! My husband seems to appreciate the new me and is wanting to show how much as often as possible **blush**.  I can't wait to take a family photo for Christmas. It will be quite the shock for those out of the loop!

You've done so well, one forty is fantastic.  Its been a hell of an adjustment for me too.  I thought by now my wl would be stable and I'd feel settled in but I'm not even close.

This winter will be a challenge for clothing for me too.  I'll be hitting the second hand shops in the rich neighborhoods real soon.

I'm thrilled to have lost about 140 pounds but goal is still a long ways away (I started ast 420lbs so still have another 100 pounds to lose).

I'm wearing 1x tops now (instead of 4x) and size 24 pants (instead of 38).  Despite everything I'd been told to expect this change caught be off guard.  I had to consign almost all of my Fall/Winter clothes...and I live in MN!...so have been scrambling to pull together a professional wardrobe.   But let's be honest - hunting for quality brands and fabrics at consignment stores has become my new favorite hobby.

I slip all the time - can't seem to stick to 900 calories a day.  The best I've been able to do with that is to make healthy food choices and amp up the exercise.
