Topic: RE: WE'RE HITTING SURGIVERSARY NUMBER NINE, FEB 2009'ERS
Tomorrow will be my 9 month surgiversary  11-3-09. I am not far off from my surgeons goal  I have twenty-four more pounds till I am at that. But then I have my own personal goal to lose a total of forty-nine pounds. I have lost then I have stalled it drives me crazy sometimes but I know I can do this. I feel I need to get into a gym instead of just walking. But I do have the Billy Blanks bootcamp dvd's and also his first set out of tae bo. I use to love to do those dvd's. Where it is getting colder here in Massachusetts I know it's definitely time to find some different forms of exercise.

Some accomplishments that I have made. I finally cleaned out my closet of all clothes that no longer fit me. I actually had three bags that I will be donating. As far as another accomplishment I went and got my license again. Now I am in process of trying to get a car. I will also be taking my first vacation at the end of this month with my fiance. I have so much more energy and when I give my clients there massages I have better body mechanics and I seriously don't feel tired. I am definitely looking forward for the days months and years to come. Hope everyone is doing well and they are getting to their goals.

I  have the same fears. I'm still 42 lbs. from Docs goal, which means I will need to lose over 12 lbs. per month now until my one year surgiversary.
I have been averaging around 10 (give or take a few) lbs. loss per  month for the past few months. I've slowed, but haven't had any gain, so I will take it.
I've been keeping very active (posted about my 5k), but must admit, I only hit the gym every other day now, where a few  months ago, I wa****ting it 5 x's per week. I've upped the intensity and variety of my workouts when I go, and when I don't go, I get in a walk at home or work.

I have my 9 month post op on 11/9/09, and go for labs tomorrow to see how all is looking. I'm pleased that I am at 77% of excess weight loss, which is still kind of amazing to me.

My next mini-goal is to do another 5k before Christmas, and to reach my Docs goal by April Fools Day.

I will post more after my labs are in and after I see Doc.

Hope everyone is doing well and is healthy!!

Kathy

And it scares the living **** outta me.  I'm so afraid of failure; of never reaching goal.  Worse, I'm terrified of re gaining.  As you all know I've struggled with gains since early out and my metabolic mess has not changed.

I need to loose seven pounds a month to hit my goal by my annual follow up.  Doc M expects me to be at 140 lbs by then.  Just 21 lbs to go.  It does not seem like too much but my body stages these rebellions.  Since Labor Day I'd lost 2.2 lbs then another 5.6 lbs since this past Wenesday.  That's 7.8 lbs in two months with most of it within the last five days.

I must do better if I'm going to hit goal on schedule.  I know its arbitraty but I am that anal and on time performance really matters a lot for me.  As always I love you for letting me *****!

So... HOW'S EVERYONE DOING THESE DAYS?  Milestones, WOW moments, mini Wow's, reflections, revelations, anything and everything!
What's up Feb 2009'ers?

Hey Ms LaShelle!

I knew you'd be there, saw your other posts.  I want to volunteer also so I'll be contacting someone tomorrow.  I have to take a look at your profile so I can recognize you.  I brought a suitcase of clothes to Rye NY and I'm packing one for ATL too.  See you at the exchange and I am so looking forward to the party.

I'll be there!  I'll be volunteering with the clothes swap, so hopefully I'll see you there.  Can't wait to see some of my online buddies in person.
