You will definitely get that done. Have that faith in yourself to know you can do it. I know the stresses of staying focused and doing what needs to be done. I wish you the best and I hope everything works out for you.

Agree with posters above. I didn't stall, but slowed waaayyyy downnnn....  increased calories from by about 150 more per day, which in turn increased my protein (I seriously focus on protein first). Then weight loss picked back up. You are very close to goal, and getting to a loss of a pound or two a week might be where your body is going to go. Don't give up. Don't sabatoge yourself. Just keep plugging along, switch it up a bit, and enjoy your amazing accomplishments! Oh, remember if you are building muscle, it weighs more than fat.....

Hugs,
Kathy

My 9 months is today. I offically weighed in at 204.2 which puts me 14.2 pounds from my goal of 190.  I am not really focusing on losing.  i need to. I just have a boyfriend that eats unhealthy and i keep getting in this slum.  not eating unhealthy....just not doing what i should, like drinking protein drinks etc. i do get enough water in daily...so...thats good.

im gonna work on it starting again today, and hope and pray i get the last 14.2 pounds off before the 12 month mark.

Hi Feb Peeps... I haven't been checking in much with you all.  Hope you all are doing great on your journeys.  Now at 100 lbs from my highest.  I have 15 more to lose for sure.  Then I will be at 100 lbs from surgery.  That is my next goal.  Don't know where I will end up.  I feel great.  I have so many life changing moments from just this past weekend.  Eight mile bike ride with the family, workout at the YMCA that including running up 7 floors and back down, So glad of my WLS decision.

I have it easier than many because over the years we just eat less so we don't have as many treats around.  Most things are sugar free and prepared with less fat as we've modified recipes over the years.  It should not be too bad but for the carb foods.

Thanksgiving will not be at my house so no leftovers except for what I bring home.  Christmas will be the hard one since the whole family will be with me for a few days.  Once again its the carbs.  Even with few treats I don't know how I'll do this.  Cauliflower rice and a vegetable blend stuffing will help since those are among my biggest temptations.

I love casava, a West Indian veggie with a billion carbs.  I have no idea how I'll control my consumption if it does not make me dump.  Thank God my pouch is ready to explode at over 3 oz.  If I has a ds or vsg I'd be in really big trouble with that large stomach.

Now Halloween was easy for me.  If it was all like Halloween it would be just grand.  I just ignored it.  The hard part now is all that candy on clearence.
