Topic: two weeks as well ,meds?
ok guys i love reading all this info....well am two weeks out two an am still with the second stage liquid, seems everybody else has moved to solids  but its ok am not hungry!! just trying all the new liquids stuff and then moving to soft foods in two weeks. that horrible pain i had sims was from overdoing the walking ...has receeded greatly and am able to move more and more ...still not able to sleep in my bed  wich i miss greatly but its one of those big tall beds. soon i keep telling myself soon.  am afraid to do too much in fear the pain will come back. other than that i feel great and i think is part of recovery for the cough  and flue like symptoms. am so glad we all decided to do this ...i had my ck up today got my stitches removed and total loss of 30 lbs  wow!!! i dont see it in my body but i can tell in my face. all is great!  dr said back in a month for blood test. also am a little concerned about my diabetes meds...have not taken them since three weeks pre op and my sugars were great , all the time at hospital under 85 but last couple of days 120 and 136.... not liking that any advice?   thanks so much for your support. I have a four poster cannon ball bed. I would have to grab the post to pull myself up and out.  I love listening to people who went before.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

Congratulations and I am happy to see your doing good as well. I get B-12 shots monthly just like you have been since last year. Was told they will continue for the rest of my life. Its all good rather that needle instead of crushing more pills.

In about a week or two you will start feeling better and it will also be easier to get out of bed. I use to literally pull myself out I couldn't move sometimes my kids even had to help me. Remember the strength you get from within will keep you going.
