Topic: Great Weekend !! + how much water are you drinking?
Hey Everyone,
I am 3 weeks out. Feeling really good.
I went to a concert and hung out with our friends all day on Saturday. We ate at a restaurant. Steak & Shake $1.79 for cottage cheese. I am a cheap date! I was tired today and I took a big nap after church. Then, I went swimming in a very loose swimsuit.!!
Only struggling with drink enough water. I am a crystal light fan. Either that or I like plain water with crushed ice. I just don't drink enough. However, I am doing really good on getting my Protein shake in every day.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I do much better with eggs that are soft scrambled and just barely done. They go down much easier and sit very well. You could also try some cream of wheat made with skim milk. It is very comforting on the pouch.

Thank you guys for sharing and for the encouragement. I'm thinking that the weight loss my also be due to how high your BMI or weight is before surgery. At least I have to think that(HEHE). Hopefully this next month will bring great results. Best of luck to you all!

Awesome wows!!
my wows so far.....
- my engagement ring and wedding band twirl around so I can't type with them on anymore
- my glasses slide off when I bend forward
- I fit into my hubby's jeans comfortably!
- I can walk for 30 minutes without feeling like falling over when I get home

I'm three weeks out and have lost about 24lbs since surgery. 16 of those were in the first week...then almost a three week stall (weeee). Finally a few days ago I started back up and lost 6 more lbs.
Remember...stalls are normal! ****ep reminding myself of this too lol)
Btw I lost 23lbs before surgery so I'm about 48 down total. Pure liquid diet though...blah.

I've been bringing my summer wardrobe up to see what can go to consignment. I thought I'd consign a few things and that the rest of the summer collection would get me through this year. However, just about everything I tried on was *already* too big so it looks like I'll be consigning most of it.
The next bit of fun was at my workout this morning. One of the weight machines has always been a bit of a challenge for me; even with the seat back as far as possible, I couldn't get the padded bar (that keeps your hips from lifting to do the work) down and locked into space because my belly took up the space the bar was intended for. Today, the bar dropped into place as neat as you please with room to spare.
When I was done with the workout, I went to the waiting area while my friend changed and discovered that they're replaced the chairs with smaller ones that had arms. I almost walked away but I was shaky from the workout so tentatively dropped into the chair...it fit just fine. Great wow moment for me.
How's it going for the rest of the February Club?

I mix 1 spoonful of Fibersure and a serving of Ultrameal protein powder into a serving of malt-o-meal. It adds up to 19g of protein...nice start for the day. However, it's 315 calories which may be high for you. My nut told not to worry about daily calories ...I've been averaging about 650/day.
