Yeah I'm still not getting in all my fluids or protein most days, but I'm working on it!  I just wanted to give a little review of a protein shake that tastes decent because I know there are a lot of terrible ones :)  I've had a few days where I kept throwing up whatever I ate and these shakes at least helped me get in some nutrients.  I'm scared of all my hair falling out! lol

Went to go shopping yesterday and I was very happy to know that I use to wear a 24 and now I wear an 18/20 yes the happy dance is going on. Even though Imay not be losing the pounds at the present moment the inches are still coming off. I am so HAPPY. This journey don't get me wrong its tough but the rewards are so great.

Individuals who I work with don't have the knowledge of the surgery I have had. But they tell me I am looking great and it feels so nice to actually get a compliment!

Sounds like you're doing great.  I had my RNY on 2/9 and have lost 20 since surgery and 45 altogether.  I have done fine with all my food, protien and water until day before yesterday.  I tried to make some of those cottage cheese pancakes.  They were very good, but later I got so sick I thought I was going to die.  I put some SF suryp on them (just a little) and I don't know if it was the syrup or the pancakes, but I probably won't go near either of them any time soon.

Otherwise, I'm doing just great.  I feel better and I love the fat tht I am able to get into clothes that I haven't worn in a long time and my before surgery clothes are sagging all over me.

Hi Guys.

Hope everyone is doing great.  I am at one month today.
26.4 lbs since surgery, 41.4 total.

I was able to star****er aerobics this week.  I have had my most embarrassing moment this week.  Throwing up at work was really icky, classy moment.  Still trying to figure it all out.  I do get my protein, but maybe not all of the water I should.  I am on my viatamins + iron.  Mostly all good.   The bad moments are quite icky, but not too many.  My clothes are falling off me, but I really don't like the pressure around my belly yet.  I am offically saggy.    Oh, I found appetizer plates today.  They are cute and kinda match my dishes.  I won't feel so left out. :)  However, I am having a much easier time cooking for the family.  It really hasn't bothered me much this week.  I made the kids pancakes this morning.  Didn't tempt me or bum me out at all.  I was really surprised because they used to be one of my favs.

Hope everyone else has good luck trying to figure out how and what to eat again.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I've found a tasty protein shake.  It's the GNC 100% Whey Chocolate Caramel powder.  It's 120 calories with 21 grams of protein and the other stats are really good too.  I mix it with skim milk (tastes a lot better this way) and that's gives you 29g of protein for one cup of liquid...not bad.  I noticed a lot of ople only getting in 300 calories...add one of these and it will really helps.  If I don't get enough calories and protein I notice my weight loss slowing down.
