I am down almost 30 lbs, since surgery!
Keep up the great work!
Stephanie
Thanks for letting me share the good news. I'm down 36 pounds from my high just before surgery, so I'm really pleased.
Have a great day!

Okay, so I'm on an egg kick this week sorry.
A warning about beans, depending on the type, the husky skin can get lodged in inflamed areas, and cause vomitting.
Keep your chin up....and eggs down. It will get better very soon.

I actually was out of work the past several days with similar complaints as Steph (yes, a nice change from constipation), so that doesn't help either.
Small hurdles, we are all still learning our new bodies....
Feel better....this will pass.

Hi Lindsay,
I had my Lap Band on 02/13/09, so I am just over 5 weeks post surgery. About 10 days ago I noticed that the port doesn't bother me anymore. Prior, anytime I bent over or moved in certain ways I could feel the port kinda 'pulling.' I have no discomfort whatsoever. I even went in for my first fill 4 days ago, and I don't feel a thing! I do not think you are going to be 'uncomfortable forever.' Hope this helps!

((((mylifeback)))) Big hugs and prayers for you. My heart goes out to you and you will continue to be in my prayers indefinately!! You WILL feel better eventually and hopefully all these problems will be a distant memory. Keep the faith. I think I can speak for everyone here when I say, "WE CARE!" Keep us posted as to how you are doing!
