I think it would be almost a relief to find out that it's a stricture. Sounds weird but at least that's something that can be fixed easy enough..... just a pain in the ass in the meantime!

Good luck and keep us posted!!

I wish you well.  I think I may have a stricture problem also. I am going to the Dr tomorrow and we will make a decision to see if I am going to get scoped. Mostly everything I eat comes right back up and it hurts.

I just did that tonight.  I had to force some to come up.    How much are you measuring?  2 oz total?  3oz?  By the cup?

Good luck Kristina.  While sometimes we are scared to find out what is wrong.  We know deep down that if we know what is wrong, it can be fixed.  Best wishes.  Kathy

Topic: stricture -
I spoke with my surgeon and her nurse practitioner today and they are both suspicious that I have a stricture.  At first I was scared and didn't want that to be what is wrong with me but now I almost hope that's what it is so I can get it taken care of and feel normal gain!  It's good to know that the discomfort I feel after eating (which I thought was just what I was eating) is not normal and I will not have to deal with it for the rest of my life!

For now I'm to take small bites and chew really really well and let the office know by Tuesday if I continue to have problems.

Once I got to my third week I was bored and on my fourth week I went back to work. Definitely go enjoy yourself. You may feel good one day drained the next but get your rest when its needed dont push yourself. As far as the food definitely bring a list with you and know what you can eat. Don't try to eat things that aren't on there will make for a miserable situation. I wish you the best and I hope you will enjoy yourself.

It will move again I had a stall for almost three weeks. But I noticed inches coming off and I am back on the losing bench. Keep your head up and smile before you know the scale will move again.

I am still dealing with that as well. Eat smaller portions I find that when I am full my stomach makes the gurgling sound almost like its hungry but it's not.I am still learning and I am almost two months out. It is definitely a learning process. I have been measuring my food at times so maybe that can help you. Also if you have a nutritionist speak to her or you can always contact your surgeon.
Best wishes hun
