My husband is deployed to Afghanistan, and he left just after my surgery. He won't be back till march of next year...so there should be BIG changes for him to get used to by the time he gets home!

I'm trying to get in my exercise, but getting to the gym everyday is not easy. Thankfully, my younger brothers got me a wii as a late christmas present...so I get exercise in one form or fashion every day. Now...if I could just find a way to do that with my vitamins...
My surgery was on Feb 10th, today being April 4th, I must say I just don't know what to do or if this whole ordeal was a waste. I started at 387 and over the year prior to my surgery I got down to 315 on my surgery date. I'm incredibly proud of myself for that accomplishment. However now that I'm had the surgery I don't really seem to be losing. In fact, I haven't lost a single pound in the past 4 weeks. Four weeks people! What's going on? I've consistantly increased my activity level and have been eating a very strict diet of lean protein. My doc used the term "diet harder" which he referred to as reducing calories and seemed to not believe me when I told him I eat about 500-600 calories a day and have been getting in my 64oz. of water every day. I was actually afraid of this happening because many times throughout my "fat" career I diet and stay the same & usually GAIN weight, which in turn I stop because I certainly don't want to gain. Any one else have this situation? If you have/do, what did you do to get going again?

I did have a weekend trip to Chicago- tried to be good but when you eat out, you get into a lot more fat and calories than if you had eaten at home. Am increasing water and walking. I really wanted to be at 40 lbs for my 3 month follow up and I don't think I am going to get there.
