Topic: Are you aware you may need this?
I had a nutritionist appointment on Monday and I am finally on stage five the life long stage of learning what I can eat again and what I cant. My nutritionist told me it would be a good idea to get medical bracelet. So instead of the bracelet I got dog tags. I am a massage therapist and I cant wear any jewelry to work. But just wanted to know has anyone else told to get a medical id bracelet. I actually had to get two dog tags because of the rny and all my allergies and asthma.

Don't know if everyone needs one but my nutritionist told me because if I ever get ill and pass out its good to have on me and if they try to put a tube down my throat they will keep pushing and pushing and nothing will happen. So just wanted to know if anyone else was told this. Oh yeah I got two cards as well saying I can order off the kids menu. Go figure I started to laugh it was kind of funny.

So, I did it. I put my two month surgiversay pics up in my profile, with before pics. I cannot figure out how to put them in the message board, but that's okay.

So did they put you on ferrus fumerate? That's what they put me on because of my iron level and saturation level being low. Did they have you start calcium supplements? My calcium was at the high end of normal and Dr Moon said for me to start taking the calcium citrate petites.

So I got my labs results in from my first round of needles. My iron level is low, my saturation is low, my ALT is hi, white blood count is hi, neauts hi, rdw are hi.... b12 fine, calcuim fine.... no kidding i am so exhusted!

YAY! another person to share my date with ! I have found it is easier to just drink protein and skip food but I know thats not very good so I have been trying to get in 2 little meals a day with the protein. The food just doesnt taste as good as it used to.

And Welcome, I had my surgery on 2/23/2009 and have loss 39 lbs.But have went from a size 24 to a 18/20.the inches are coming off.But i have stalled for a while.....need to get my protein in,having a hard time..and can't seem to find anything to eat.I'm in stage 3.Do you or any one else find it hard with food,the taste or keeping it down.Anyway Good Luck Robin and WELCOME
