Topic: RE: MY FEB 2009'rs, WE'RE HITTING MONTH TEN! IS ANYONE AS FRUSTRATED AS I AM THESES DAYS?????
Glad its stil moving even if slowly. I'm a big believer in exercise and always have been. Exercise makes your body look good even when you're obese. My workout capacity is already at its max so there is no help fo me there.
For both of us I hope "eventually" is not too far off.

My WL has been slow from day one, so this is nothing new for me. I am just so thankful it is still going down! Last two weeks nothing and then a 3 lb drop overnight. At about the 6 month mark, I decided, the WL was going to do what it was going to do. (like an entity all itself!) I just keep doing what I am supposed to do and it will eventually come off. My support group leader only lost 80 lbs from surgery and the rest (100lbs more ) came off over the next several years through EXERCISE! UGH! Not what I wanted to hear, for sure. Our bodies LOVE to cling to the FAT!

AMAZING pictures. Looking good! You lost 160 lbs??? That is AMAZING, too!
Topic: RE: OK NOW, WHOOSE GONNA CALL IT?
I would like to hit my personal goal on or before my 1 year anniversary which will be Feb 19th 2010.
My doctor never gave me a goal. (hmmm... I'll have to ask about that)
My ticker tells you the info....
I'm getting close and the weight is currently falling off @ a rate of app 10-12 lbs per month.
I weigh in naked on Friday mornings.
Lift weights 4 days per week & ride a stationary bike for 45 minutes 3 days per week.
Good luck to all the Febulicious ladies I see on here. (Not many Feb guys around)

I saw your pics and you look so good. I must agree that overweight instead of obese is a milestone. Good luck on your next run.

Looks like everyone is "plugging along"! I had a few weeks these last couple of months where I teetered back and forth with the same 2 fricken lbs! It was very frustrating. I won't reach Doc's goal of 145 by one year, but should be somewhat close. I keep telling myself that I need to set a new goal, of maybe 135, but that may be unrealistic. Of course, if I can justify having my panni removed, then that should be a few lbs. right there! I wonder how I could weight that .... I know, a bit over the edge there. But seriously, can ya get the image? ewww...
I'm in size 12 now, and top and bottom are same size (this is a first, as my top has always been smaller than the bottom...go figure). My BMI still has me as overweight, but hell....better than SERIOUSLY SERIOUSLY YOU ARE GOING TO DIE GIGANTICALLY MORBIDLY OBESE. I will take overweight....and smile about it. I will embrace the overweight...
My co-mobids (high cholesterol and blood pressure) were resolved within the first few months post op. My labs have been good, so I'm only taking OTC vitamins, B-12, Calicium Citrate. My hair loss, which seemed like a lot to me, stopped around month 6. Luckily I have a lot of hair, so no harm, no foul, no bald spot.
I definatley have the flying squirrel thing happening. I blogged about it several months ago. My inner thighs, well, ick. My bat wings, not too bad unless I extend my arms, and draw attention to the area by intentionally flapping, or imitating a hang glider. My abdomen, or "panni", is not too terribly bad (with clothing on), but overall, I'm looking okay. I just don't walk around outside the house nekkid!
Coming up on the one year anniversary of the death of my dad, (12/29-08), so the holidays for the most part, have been anti-climatic...quiet. I'm planning my 3rd 5K this weekend, but it is supposed to be colder (its fricken cold outside at 8 a.m.! Like around 15 degrees!!!) so I'm not sure I will be as excited for this run as the previous ones.
Well, thats about it for me...I posted pics under another post, but wanted to hop on the chain here and say WAY TO GO MSW AND ALI! AND HAPPY SURGIVERSARY TO ALL YOU OTHER FEB 9-ERS!
HUGS,
Kathy

Every morning in Africa , a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

Thanks luv. Exhaution is tough. Do you know the cause? How are your labs? Fatigue can be from so many causes, serious and not. Hope you're looking into this.
