I've never gained a lb since my surgery. I've only stayed the same weight a few times on my weekly weigh-ins but always lost the following week.

Keep up the good work & congratulations to all on the journey to HEALTH...
Just wanted to say WOW!!!! THATS AWSOME!!! Im almost there and I CANT WAIT!!! LOL
As I near my goal weight, I hold my calorie max to the sedentary caloric needs of someone 10 lbs to 15 lbs lighter. I never go over my goal maintenance calories for a sedentary lifestyle.
My carbs average 25g but range as high as 100g+ with cycling. I focus mostly on protein which I've raised to 150g in hopes of breaking my current stall.
Each week I have a higher cal day and about twice a month a much higher carb day. I do not want to stagnate at one nutritional level.

Hi Michelle... Wow.. congrats to you. That is awesome. I am doing really good, but not that close to goal yet. So glad that you posted. It is so easy to get comfortable where you are. I am thrilled with my results so far. However.... need to focus on the goal. My 11 months was yesterday. Like you hope all the Feb Peeps are doing well. I am weighing in at 178 and I work out a lot. I am just so top heavy. On the bottom, I am wearing size 6 and on top a Large or a Medium. Definitely know now about the jealous friend stuff. Did you ever think that would happen to you. It is so strange. You know the comments. You don't need to lose ANY more. Also, I ran into a neighbor that didn't even speak to me. It is so strange. I am amazed still by what people say. Most are so ultra supportive, but there are those that do still hurt my feelings.
Just hope we all have a good month 11.
But then I am never hungry and dont nibble to much.
I figure I get about 700-800 calories a day, sometimes less sometimes more.
I am close to 11 months post op and I am 4 pounds from Dr. S's goal and 14lbs from my goal.
I never thought I would get to this point but I am so excited I did.
Hope all you Feb 09'ers are having equal success!

when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
