Greetings,

I just found this board and want to say thanks for all the posts. I had my RnY Feb 06 and have lost a total of 170 pounds so far. I have a long way to go and like others that have posted, I hit a major plateau that lasted for 7 weeks.......It was driving me crazy. I started to have doubts and just kept with the doctors protocol and it finally broke but my loss has slowed WAY down. I wanted to be under 300 pounds at my 9 month aniversary but it didnt happen (fell 6 pounds short).

Anyway, just wanted to say great job everyone and keep up the great work.

Have a great day..........Rick

Welcome Rick, and WOW! What a great job you've been doing, and for going on 3 yrs! I'm glad you are still plugging along. At times I run across posters who pretty much have thrown in the towel at stalls or when they aren't at goal when they wanted to be. So, thanks for showing us that sure and steady is winning the race!

Have a wonderful holiday!

Hugs,
Kathy

It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

Welcome, glad you found us.  We're all at what I call the 'tween' stage.  No longer a newbie but plugging a long in search of goal.  It can be frustrating despite our progress.

Big pat on the back for your success.

Woooohoooo big welcomes and congrats! You can do it. I dislike plateaus but usually when I am on one the inchs are coming off! I to am just coming off a month long one, and it was driving me crazy! It's very frustrating at times! Keep pushing forward, best of luck
