Well, I have done it. Or rather my body is... I have officially Stalled. I just hit my 8 month post op date and I have lost much in the last three weeks. I have thought about what I eat... not really any issues I am pretty strict about what goes in this body. I work out everyday. I get all my Vitamins and drink plenty of H2O.

So what gives.

Any thoughts? Hints? Tricks to break this thing?

I would like to see my goal by the beginning of the year. Starting to feel like its not gonna happen for me.

stalls just happen... even if we are doing everything we are supposed to it happens.. try switching up ur excercise routine... sometimes that will break a stall... if ur body gets so used to same routine same food it will stall. try adding some time per work out an skipping every other day for a week or so.. just to reset ur body kinda shock it.. that has helped me in the past.... im not doing much for excercise atm... having blood pressure issues...  from sitting to standing my bp is droppin over 40 points in under a min.. its crazy..  good luck with ur stall.... it will pass give it some time..

Amazing to just hit a stall now!  I feel perpetually stalled as though actual wl is a fluke at times.

Try mixing up your routine like increasing calories to up your metabolism.  Look up calorie and carb cycling on body building sites.  It can work for us wls folks too.

Agree with posters above. I didn't stall, but slowed waaayyyy downnnn....  increased calories from by about 150 more per day, which in turn increased my protein (I seriously focus on protein first). Then weight loss picked back up. You are very close to goal, and getting to a loss of a pound or two a week might be where your body is going to go. Don't give up. Don't sabatoge yourself. Just keep plugging along, switch it up a bit, and enjoy your amazing accomplishments! Oh, remember if you are building muscle, it weighs more than fat.....

Hugs,
Kathy

It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
