I THOUGHT IT WAS TOO SMALL

Okay, so my mom ordered me a new swimsuit. I was not sure what size to tell her. I took the one that I wear now, when I swim laps, and deducted two sizes, thinking "Well, later this summer, I could use a new suit".  Well, it came today. I pulled it gently from it's SMALL plastic wrapper, and held it up.
I gulped.  My tummy gurggled, my  heart raced.  I said, "Oh...this is too small". Well I guess I must have needed some self induced torture, because I headed to a bedroom to try the suit on.  I didn't even want to remove the "panty liner" because I knew I'd have to return it.
Slid the sucker on.....looked in a mirror....adjusted the "sisters" to their upright position, and I will be darned it it didn't fit! Perfectly!
Oh, and the matching shorts, they fit too. (Gotta get out the weed wacker for my legs...)

Just ordered another suit, two more sizes smaller for the fall.

Just had to share (I'm actually giddy).

          Hugs,
               Kathy

It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

Hey Kathy,

Congrats!  That is great.  Sometimes it is hard to get our brains to realize we are smaller.

I just got a new suit a couple of weeks ago and now it is too big.  That's a good problem to have.

Way to go girl!

I am just starting to get some smaller sizes.  I have now been able to put up all the 24-28's and some 22's.  I also packed up the winter 20's.  I have this huuuuge tub labeled 20 - 28 winter cloths.  That about sums up my life of going up and down!  Now when I can get down to that old dusty one from "95 that has the 12-14 summer cloths from when I went thru my Divorce.
