12 weeks post of and 71 lbs lost

Good Morning OHers,

I am 12 weeks post op this week and I have lost a total of 71 lbs down today.  (23lbs lost the month before surgery)

I'm feeling pretty good.  I had developed a stricture and have been unable to eat, but this past Friday my dilation brought me from 10mm to 12mm which has allowed me to chew soft solids for the first time in over 13 weeks and not vomit.   YEH!!!!!

I go in again on May 15th for what will hopefully be my last dilation to take it from 12mm to 15mm.

Great to hear that the dilation did its job! That would be nice after vomiting for that long!!

Congrats on your weight loss. Hope this is the last time you'll need the dilation. Hope it works this time. I know how it feels to have to vomit thatmuch that long. I had morning sickness with all my kids and it was for 3 months straight. I really feel for you. Hope you get better soon.
