How many of you are almost 'wishing that you have your double chin back?
I've lost a lot of weight in my face/neck, and I am getting the 'old lady turkle waddle' -look.
Deciding that there HAD to be something that I could do, I did some searching ....
Here's what I found:
1) Vigorous self massage of *****heeks/jawline. Use a forward and back motion using palms, finger tips and front and sides of fingers depending where you are massaging. You have to flex face muscles to do the massage. The skin and muscles in the face and neck sag with time and this facial flexing will help strengthen and lift them, tighten the overlying skin & get rid of chin. Depending on how vigorous/how strong the massages see noticeable improvements in 4 / 5 days and very noticeable results in 14 days. You will be amazed at it´s effectiveness
NECK: Use palms/fingers to energetically massage(one hand at a time) again flexing neck muscles. Do repeatedly from front to almost back of neck and back again. Do many, many times.
.
2)Find with library or Google search "Yoga for face/neck".or "facial yoga". The "Lion face" pose and variations of that are very effective and easy to do. Or go to TIME magazine website dated Thursday, April 24, 2008 enter "facial yoga" in SEARCH box click on "lion face" photo to see series of other photos. Another pose, basically same as lion face, is to protrude tongue upwards as if trying to touch nose with tongue tip. "Baby Bird" is a good one for jowls and fat round chin. Hold poses for as long as you can and repeat several times. Also gives very effective and quick results. Do many, many head turns(as far as you can go ) and also head rolls. Repeatedly move jaw from one side to the other(do quite fast). Lie down on back and repeatedly lift head high and look at feet.
3)Go to www.flexeffect.com. has photos of exercises. Facial exercises unquestionably work. Much as an applied program of bodybuilding strengthens and enlarges the skeletal muscles, as well as toning and tighten the overlying skin, facial exercises do the same. As with the massage technique facial exercises will strengthen and lift the muscles and tighten sagging skin.and reduce double chin
I've also seen references to "Oromotor exercises" that speech pathologists use to help those w/ speech impediments to build up/develop facial/neck muscles
and "Callinetics"
