50 lbs ! You rock ! I had my RNY on 2/10 and have only lost 35 lbs and I've been exercising and watching what I eat..... It sucks! You know when it comes to eating, I can do some things that you wouldn't think would be good and everything is great and other things that were ok last week kill me now. It doesn't make sense. ALL LAST WEEK I vomitted after eating or drinking. Last couple days has been ok though. CHEESE, oh ya baby. That's a hard one to quit, especially since it usually doesn't bother me. Ironically, popcorn was the only thing that didn't make sick for about 4 weeks. I'm surprised your sugar intake isn't making you sick. I haven't been able to eat sugar free jello, pudding or yogurt without getting really sick, very quickly. I think it's really strange that we can eat some things today and everything is great but tomorrow they will make us throw up. What about drinking? I can't drink anything, including water that isn't warm at least, usually I need it HOT. Take care and I hope that you're able to eat again soon. I know how it feels. Like you're starving but regret it once you take a bite of anything. : (
I am having a lot of nausea again especially when I sip my water! Just a sip of water, and my stomach starts reeling. YUCK. HOT liquid helps for sure, but it has been over 100 degrees here this week, and HOT drinks are NOT what I want right now. I have a doc appt in two weeks, so I will discuss if it continues. I just keep sipping and trying to get the water down, though. I also have been a slow loser. Slow but stalls are only a few days at a time.
I was able to eat pureed chicken and fish a couple of weeks after suryger, but now, I throw up after dinner. Soups, lamb, potatoes and I can eat a little salad. Don't have a problem. Oh,of course a couple of chocolate things from easter, I was hoping to have dumping. Not happening here. I still write down everything I eat. Still have an open incision on my left side, been infected a couple of times, so exercising right now is a no no. My sweet husband did go out and bought me a horse! I will be getting her this weekend, should get some good exercise taking care of her. I am down 52lbs. since surgery and 114lbs. total. Due feel like a totally new person. 65lbs. more to go!!
You've lost a lot. I'm much more like bbaraja4.
Nearly all meats bother me at one time or another. Turkey, chicken and salmon all favorites are among the worst. Shrimp was ok but not last week. No vomiting or foamies, just too full after a bite or two or I can't bring myself to swallow.
I eat 1.5oz servings of something processed or ground to avoid feeling like a stuffed turkey for hours after eating. Even water is a challenge when I'm stuffed like that. I add goat cheese (no cow's dairy for me) or a vegetable for a 2-3oz meal. 3oz is usually too much at one time.
Docs not worried. Just stick to the plan and keep trying to find foods I can eat...

LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
glad to see I am not the only one with liquids problems...luke warm is totally out...tea is ok some days...also have found slurpee style ice (my blender does it yeah! ) with just a touch (1 or 2oz per 6-8 oz of ice) of apple juice/ or your favorite works too...I "eat" it with a spoon every morning to help get more liquid down me...
