I also told them about the foamies and sever neaseau.... to sum it up I kinda got scared.. I told them/asked if I could have a few more weeks and if its a no go, i will call them, angela said she will call me end of this week begining of next week....

Yesterday I was so sick, i tried a piece of kolbsa and vomited saliva stuff all after noon... wasnt my day or the kolbsa stuff... anyways i irrated my pouch with the excessive vomiting and because of that I am in pain today and did tell dr grabber.... I am now placed back on liquids/mush for 2 days...

You may not be able to tolerate the spicy foods (Kilbasa) anymore. I know there are a few things that I loved before, cannot have now (bacon, sausage, anything with mayo, or anything at all greasy).  I know that our pouches (my Oscar says Howdy to your Edna) take on a different temperament...

Just a thought..
       good luck!

Kathy
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

It must just be the difference in drs, but I'm not even allowed to eat pastas or breads until like 9 months out. Maybe you just can't tolerate them yet?

I cannot tollerate greasy foods at all.  I ate two french fries the other day (they did NOT appear greasy at all) and got immediately ill.  Foamies, nausea and eventually vomited it all!  I won' t be trying those again anytime too soon!  Also, I think sausage is not a good food choice this early out.  I would try going back to the basics, bland foods with no breads for a while and see how your pouch reacts.  Maybe food choices is all it is!

with dr graber i should be able to eat now eat breads and pasta's and i cannot... everything in moderation. Ever doctors different... some are still on liquids, that being said back to mush lol I still cannot eat tuna or salmon... however i can eat steamed fish. I cannot eat kolbasa but i can eat bacon. Everyones different I understand that... its learning to eat all over again... sometimes i am sure we just cannot eat those certain things anymore lmfao

But as far as the kolbsa goes it couldve been very much to greasy for edna, i swear i will never eat that again lmfao

I was just thinking that maybe you need to go back to the beginning of your foods or a while.  ie shakes, cream of wheat, yogurt, broths, etc.  IF your stomach calms down, they you know your pouch is just being grouchy.  (like mine is lately!) IF the basics still causes you to vomit, than I might consider a stricture is possible.

I have a stricture.  The exit to your pouch is suppose to be at 15mm.  Mine was at less than 7mm.  Last Wednesday they went down my throat and put a balloon to it to stretch (dilate) it.  The Dr. got it to 10mm, but I have to go back in on the 1st to have it stretched a 2nd time.

I would just go have it checked out.  I have had 2 endoscopies so far and will have my 3rd on the 1st.  It really is not a big deal.  They knocked me out completely and then I woke up.

I was unable to eat even applesauce, mashed potatoes etc.  After the stretch last week I have moved up to pureed.  I am SO looking forward to real chewable food.

Well I hope my letting you know that it was not a painful procedure that you will have it checked.

Good Luck,
Brenda

Twinkle, Twinkle,

Lord have mercy girl.  I am so sorry to hear you are roughing it.  You are gonna be ok honey.  You have taken quite a journey, with so many added barriers.  Your testimony is going to help so many.  Probably toooo soon to be even saying that.

I pray that you will heal and be able to eat without getting sick even one more time..  I miss hearing from you.  Please let me know how your doing.  Are the boys doing ok?

Take Care,  Pam

Thanks Pam

Everything is going great. I did go back and do the liquids like Dr graber suggest. I am now able to eat normally shall I say without throwing up. I have no more pain in my pouch area! YAY!!!!! No foamies either, no vomiting....
