Just wanted to introduce myself

Hello all my fellow Feb. surgery daters! My name is Robin and I had Surgery on Feb. 23, 2009 . I am new to this forum so I figured I would put a post out there and get to know everybody. Also just wondering how the weight loss is going for people who had surgery about the same time I did because it feels like my loss is very SLLLOOOW. lol any thanks for your time!

Hello and your welcomed here of course..... my weight loss is turtle slow, reallly SLLLOOOW! Its frustrating big time!

I had my surgery on the 2nd and have lost 31 lbs.  Also now losing very slowly.

 Hi Robin welcome to the board.. we have same surgery date.. i was 397lbs day after surgery an am 362lbs yesterday.. am going through a stall tho.. was down to 357lbs..up a few lbs bk down a few lbs past week.. but im losing inches like Crazy... ive lost over 20inches from my waist since july last year 11 of those inches were since surgery... so even if ur loss is slow measure ur self..

Thanks for replying, thats so cool we ave the same date! Oh and I wanted to say Congrats on the Losses 35 pounds i awsome and the 20 inces frm the waist is incredible. I love to measure I have been measuring once a week but I didnt start measuring until te week after surgery so im down 14 inches total over my whole body. 7.5 was off of my waist! YAY lol it feels good to be moving in the right direction.

i know what u mean im so glad i had the surgery i finally feel like im doing whats right for me.. not what everyone else suggested or told me to do.. not to mention gave me all the wrong advice for years.... even doctors.. was so happy when i found a nutritionist an docs that GOT ME... an said ok.. this is what ur options are an its a decision only u can make.. not.. do this do that.. an no results.. like my entire youth/20s for the first time in my life i feel good about myself an my choices.. 

I am so happy that you finally feel good about what you are doing! GOOD FOR YOU! I know it feels awsome to know we did this for ourselves and the results are so rewarding! 

You should feel good about what you're decision Peggy..... look at how awesome you're doing!!!
